John Beck has been advertising his " Free and Clear " and Property Vault program for years. He makes it seem very easy, but you are about to find out what the Real Story is!

I am sure that you have seen his info-mercial for years, set up to look like a legitimate interview program,and he is really going overboard with the high pressure, to concince you that you will find houses like he shows on the commercial, around every corner. The only other info-mercial that goes this far is the Russ Dalbey Note Program and Jeff Paul.

The commercial shows you the best case scenarios of the note business, but I am sure that you realize it is not that easy. He doesn't mention things like the Redemption Period that the actual owners have to come up with the taxes themselves. This could cause you to tie up your money for extended periods of time. If you were to use a credit card or a loan to purchase these tax liens, you could end up paying a considerabel amount of interest and still end up not getting the property.

This is just one of the many things that you need to know about the complexities of this business. You don't really believe that he is giving you all ot this information for $39.95 do you? But you don't have to worry, there is help for you!

My experience was that almost immediately after ordering the information I started receiving phone calls. The company that was calling is called "Mentoring of Amerca" This company was put together (or DEFINITELY lining his pockets). They are supposed to "coach" you in this business. The first salesman that also doubles as your "coach" was asking for about $8000 to "help me" and it was a HARD sell!

I ended up really grilling the "coach" and found out that he had never actually done a tax deal himself. It seemed perfectly logical to him that it didn't matter because he had been "trained" to do it! It left me thinking, "how stupid do these people thing I am?"

The "Property Vault Advisory Service," which is offered as a "free trial" on the commercial ends up being another sales pitch for Big Bucks. This is supposedly to give you first crack at these "bargain properties," but you have to pay out of the nose for that too.

Finally I figured that if I wanted to buy some tax liens that I could go and wait outside the courthouse and bid on them at the Sheriff's Auction just like everybody else. I would be doing a lot of that even if I spent all this money anyway!

I realized that tax liens can be profitable, but they are a small part of an overall real estate business plan and a plan is exactly what you need to have.

I looked at most of the "Mom and Pop" programs that are all over the internet, but most of them just seemed like the people got lucky one time and decided to write about it.

Don't believe all the hype you see on TV and the Internet, there’s no substitute for know-how and a little effort and there never will be.
